Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
Eidos is a service of Fairfax Ventures LLC ("Eidos," "we," "us," or "our"). We design, build, and operate custom AI-enabled automation systems for owner-operated small businesses. Each system is purpose-built for a single client, shaped around that client's specific operations, tools, and workflows. We do not sell a product clients adapt to; we build infrastructure that adapts to how they run their business. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit eidos.works (the "Site") or engage our services.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
Information You Provide
- Name, email address, phone number, and company name when you book a call or contact us
- Business information you share during discovery calls and engagements
- Payment information processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe)
- Any other information you voluntarily provide to us
Information Collected Automatically
- Device and browser information (type, operating system, language)
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve our services
- To communicate with you about our services, including scheduling and follow-ups
- To process transactions and send related information
- To send marketing communications (only with your consent; you can opt out at any time)
- To analyze usage patterns and improve our website
- To comply with legal obligations
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Service providers: third-party companies that help us operate our business (e.g., Stripe for payments, Calendly for scheduling, Vercel for hosting, Twilio for SMS and voice communications, analytics providers)
- AI processing infrastructure: Anthropic (Claude API), used to power AI Processing within client systems. Data sent to Anthropic is governed by Anthropic's usage policies and privacy terms
- Legal requirements: when required by law, regulation, or legal process
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
5. Client Data
When you engage our services, we access and process business data on your behalf to build, deploy, and maintain your custom automation system. This includes records, leads, communications, documents, and any other data your system handles in the course of normal operation ("Client Data"). Client Data is used solely to deliver the services contracted for. We do not use Client Data for any other purpose.
Each client system is single-tenant and isolated. We do not commingle data across clients and do not use one client's data to train, improve, or inform systems built for another.
Some automation systems use the Anthropic Claude API to perform AI Processing tasks such as classification, summarization, drafting, or analysis. When a system you operate includes AI Processing, relevant portions of your data may be transmitted to Anthropic to fulfill those tasks. Anthropic processes this data in accordance with its own privacy and usage policies; Eidos does not control Anthropic's data handling practices. We do not share Client Data with any other third party except as necessary to connect to the systems and integrations you have authorized. All Client Data handling is governed by the terms of your service agreement with Eidos.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. SMS and Text Messaging
If you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages from Eidos, we may send you SMS communications related to our services, including follow-ups, scheduling, and business information. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out will not affect other communications from Eidos (e.g., email).
We use Twilio to send and receive SMS messages. Your phone number and message content may be transmitted to Twilio in order to deliver communications. Twilio's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
8. Cookies
Our Site may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, analyze usage, and assist with marketing efforts. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Site.
9. Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Calendly, Stripe). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@eidos.works.
11. Your California Privacy Rights
This section applies to California residents and supplements the rights described in Section 9. It addresses our obligations under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and the California "Shine the Light" law.
Categories of Personal Information We Collect
In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from California residents:

Sources and Purposes
We collect this information directly from you (when you fill out a form, book a call, or communicate with us), automatically from your device (when you interact with the Site), and from service providers such as our analytics and scheduling tools. We use this information for the purposes described in Section 3: to provide and improve our services, to communicate with you, to process transactions, and to comply with legal obligations.
Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect or process "sensitive personal information" as defined under the CPRA (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, account credentials, racial or ethnic origin, health information, or sexual orientation).
No Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months and have no plans to do so.
Retention

How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a California privacy request, email hello@eidos.works with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days, as required by law, and may extend this period by an additional 45 days if reasonably necessary, with notice to you. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request by confirming information you have previously provided to us. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; the agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may verify the agent's identity and the scope of their authority.
Shine the Light
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 entitles California residents to request information concerning whether a business has disclosed personal information to any third parties for the third parties' direct marketing purposes. Eidos does not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no industry consensus on how to interpret or respond to DNT signals, our Site does not currently respond to them. Regardless of whether your browser sends a DNT signal, we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described above.
Third-Party Tracking
Third-party analytics and service providers used on our Site (including PostHog and Calendly) may collect personal information about your online activities on the Site. We do not authorize these providers to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across other, unrelated websites.
12. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
